Branded Film: Boho Saint Jo

I first met Ashlyn Shadden years ago when we went to school together at the University of Texas! She has since been one of my biggest supporters and I feel so honored to have been able to capture her baby, Boho Saint Jo. Boho Saint Jo is maker’s marketplace for women creators. Everything about the market, from the style to the mission and people, just seemed like a perfect fit for Tripp Films.

I had been looking forward to this shoot for awhile, because I had seen photos from previous shows and it just looked like a videographer’s dream! So many textures and colors and bright smiles. Ashlyn has a talent for creating this amazing atmosphere at her shows, which is an absolute joy to capture.

One of the things that was remarkable about our time at the market was the people. Everyone, from the shoppers to the vendors, had huge smiles on their faces, were so kind and would even wave to us while we were filming. That’s not always the case with crowds, so this was a real treat. And after talking to Ashlyn, it seems like this is a common theme show after show. People are just happy at Boho Saint Jo.

Lastly, big shout out to my husband Jordan! When he’s able to come to shoots with me, he usually carries my equipment around, but this time he was my second shooter and did an amazing job!
