As an incoming geology major at the University of Texas, I quickly discovered that I didn't have the same passion for rocks as my classmates. While they were absorbed in classifying rocks during our weekly labs, my mind was daydreaming about the latest film screening of North by Northwest from my History of World Cinema class.

I had always loved movies growing up, but it wasn't until I took that class that I realized filmmaking was not only my passion but could also be my career. Needless to say, I switched majors soon after and graduated with a degree in Radio-TV-Film in 2013.

When I moved to Houston in 2015, I didn't know anyone. I started attending creative meetups, applying for jobs, and putting myself out there to meet new people. During this time, I met the owners of a local lifestyle & lodging business who understood the value of video and asked me to film a business and branding workshop for future marketing. I was inspired by not only the spirit of the event, but also the creative process to tell their story. This was the film that prompted me to officially start Tripp Films in fall of 2016.

Over the past five years, I have worked with a variety of industries, from interior designers and home builders to financial groups and oil companies.

I understand that commissioning a film can feel daunting, but I promise to walk you through the process with the utmost care. Above all, I can’t wait to create a film that does your hard work justice!
